1. Do not have sex if you have a chronic low-level of prostatic acidity. If you're a man, have a regular bath. Do not go on long trips without regular soap. 2. Drink plenty of water. If you're a woman, do your normal routine (a bath, brushing your teeth, using the shower). Don't forget your sunscreen, toothpaste, and any medications you're taking. If you're overweight, try to get at least six meals a day (not counting your lunch). 3. Take a daily vitamin and mineral supplement. I personally think that the more minerals you take, the better you're going to feel and the more likely you'll be to stay healthy. I recommend taking a supplement every other day and supplementing with iron. 4. Take supplements if you are taking a lot of medication. If you take anti-depressants (Prozac, Paxil, etc), you may benefit from adding a vitamin and mineral supplement. 5. Don't take too many supplements at once. If you do, you may end up taking more than you need. 6. You don't need supplements if you are eating very healthfully and eating plenty of fruit and vegetables. 7. Be aware that supplements don't cure prostate cancer. Just as a drug will cure a disease or treat a condition, so can the supplements that help.
